I have not had to use one, of 5 that I now have, but keep one for each of 4 back packs and for trips with survival pack. Times are getting crazy, don’t get caught in the middle without one.

Good, I guess.
Good, though needs improvement. Adds an odd taste and does not attach to bottle heads or anything. Also takes days to dry.

For Years
I have used these for years….dont know if they last as long as advertised, but havent died from intestinal bacteria or protozoans yet. Doesn’t do anything about taste….you’ll need a carbon addendum for that

Havenāt tested it on a dirty lake or anything. Only tap water from another country whose water has an odor. The water was delish. I wear it around my neck when Iām out and about. No leakage and itās very easy to use. It was a wise purchase for me.

Life Straw quick easy and light weight
Super easy to use and won’t take up much space at all. Last a considerable amount of time and for the $, can’t beat it. The taste isn’t bad at all and the internal filter actually matches up to a tumbler I already have. Sooo double prizes!

Amazing for emergency kit, camping or doomsday preppers
Iām not going to go test this in a backyard swamp for the sake of a review, but it works just fine testing out of a cup.If the description and user manual arenāt lying, this is an amazing tool to take camping, keep in the car, or toss in your purse for emergencies.Whenever a bad storm comes through, what is the first to sell out? WATER.Flow is great, so easy to use my 6 year olds could figure it out. Looks cuteā but thatās irrelevant, Iām more concerned about not dying from creek germs.Feels sturdy. Definitely a good purchase!!!

Packaging sucked
The product is exactly as described and appears new. I ordered two as gifts and unfortunately both arrived with destroyed display packaging due to poor box packing. I was embarrassed to give these as gifts in that shape! I would recommend the product but if I were to buy more I would order from somewhere else or get in store.

Perfect!
I took my LifeStraw on a very hot weekend backpack trip with a group of friends. When I whipped it out to use on nasty looking pond water I filled up my water bottled with, they were horrified. The joke was on them when I was drinking delicious filtered water and they were still sitting with their sawyer squeezes.

With all the concerns going around, I got the 3 pack for family members as backup just in case. A bit pricey. Water quality is major, so some is better than none.when you need it , you need it.Better Healthy and SAFE than SORRY.And I will buy again as price or needs arise.

Must have!
I got these on sale for $15 which was great! These can last a year for one adult so we get at least one per person to be safe, and they last 100 years. The back of the packaging doesnāt say the instructions so I had to google how to know how many to get per person and when they expire + how to know when they are no longer good to use.

Great in a pinch
Lifestraw definitely works. I like to have it with me on all camping/hiking excursions. It reduces weight when hiking, but you have to be close to a water source. If you are using this exclusively as your filtering choice, then work out the muscles around your jaw. It takes a lot of pressure to suck the water through. I donāt use this as my camp water filter, and I donāt recommend it as your primary water filter. It can be exhausting.Itās great to keep on hand because it can be wearisome to carry multiple liters of water. But at camp, I recommend a gravity filter that will filter multiple liters.I give it 5 stars because when used for the purpose indicated above, itās an amazing asset to your hiking experience!

Just in case purchase
Honestly haven’t had the opportunity to use these yet, purchased as they were on special for a great price. I had hoped we could use for places where the drinking water might be iffy. I recently saw they have a new straw for that though, and that may be what we really need. In any case, these are packed with our travel things so we will have the handy.
